The 4GC looks very nice, although it is still a coupe, to the extent that the rear seats neither easily fit child seats nor adults comfortably. If backseat is non-critical, and the added weight from hatchback is acceptable, 4GC will be a fine choice.
Here's a DIY on installation of the reflectors. With my car going in the shop to fix a bumper, I had previously thought about attempting this myself. It looks pretty straightforward, but I'll have the shop do it.
