I'm surprised there is no thread like this here. Post up what you did to you F3X. It can be anything like a car wash, exhaust, wheels, lowered...And pics or it didn't happen
The more details the better, i.e. brands, parts, retailer, product...
I will start posting my mods here, once I take delivery of my unicorn.
TODAY, I think I found the coding to enable screen mirroring!
Enable WiFi Hot-Spot
(Need to install a DLNA/UPnP media sharing server on your laptop or phone to be able to use this)

My 435 sat in the garage this week and waiting on the 3 day weekend when i'm going to take it on a road trip to canada before the 20k miles service is due.
That's interesting, I heard that there was a resonance device in one of the mufflers that basically changed sound levels at different engine speeds, a valve that bypasses some of the baffles in the muffler. That isn't a BMW only thing; I've heard of other brands doing this as well, as a way to make the engine sound more aggressive at higher RPM and quieter at lower RPM. Mazda in particular stands out, but I know Ford has done it as well. Some aftermarket muffler makers also do a bypass that completely bypasses the entire muffler, either via a valve on a pressure switch set to open at certain engine speeds, or via a remote switch to manually control it. But, if the one in my BMW - if I even have one - does more than change the noise, probably best to leave alone.
I pressed refresh on my browser about 10 times today as my 440 msport 6MT has been in "production ends" status for 15 days and I'm not so patiently waiting to see her get on the boat.
i coded the puddle lights to come on when in reverse thinking it would create a bit more visibility when pulling out of parking spaces and the like. i did not consider that it ended up helping out tremendously for top-view reverse camera at night when you cannot see much of anything along the sides.
now with the puddle lights illuminating the top view cameras can pick up very well for great visibility.

did a DIY project - installed a three coil wireless charger where the OEM goes but this is better as this is 250 bucks less, can be added post order of build, works with all size phones, leaves storage capability, and a lot cleaner looking.
yes that is the limitation for most coders. there are about four in the world that have figured out how to get video in motion at unlimited speed so it's a closely guarded secret for the time being. you want to contact Okee at codemycar.com (codemycar@gmail.com) and tell him marcos sent you and he will hook you up.
he can activate miracast/mirror screening from your phone and do video in motion at any speed for you but the latter must be done in person. the good thing is Okee travels around doing the coding so he may have a trip scheduled near you in the future. he was in california this past week, for example. he is out of new jersey.
I just ordered a PLX 2016 DM-200 OBDII Gauge. It has been used on BMWs. Finally a solid solution for the bimmer! Not as OEM+ as PF03 on my NMS Passat TDI. But definitely better than a Wifi OBD2 dongle and phone setup. The only downside I found from searching is radio interference, when listening to the radio in the car. No issues for me, as I listen to Spotify from my phone or XM.
interesting! how do you plan on mounting? do you prefer this to the more OEM-looking OBDII vent-mounted solutions? i don't have any experience with the PLX products.
little bit of custom trim work. didn't like the hexagon aluminum trim with matte blue and wanted piano black with matte blue. but piano black only available with matte red finisher. so got a proper set and painted the matte red to matte blue to match my estoril blue exterior and m performance calipers. this is before a nice buff.
all the door pull handles are swapped to the piano black too.
interior trim has been swapped from the aluminum hexagon with matte blue finisher to the piano black and matte red finisher which has been painted matte blue for my own custom interior trim that looks more clean and sophisticated.
