2016 Z4 35is......brakes-colored calipers

Hi fest members,
Newbie here...bought my Z4 and awaiting shipping from Calif.
Looking to do some upgrades....although honestly, it is an amazing auto and not sure I will do some of the performance upgrades...but you never know.
I have ordered a "Stubby" and now looking to maybe add some color to the brake calipers.
Read some of the threads and even though I know I have the upgraded brakes on the 35is would like to add some color to the calipers.
Is getting the calipers painted the only choice? Or any off the shelf upgrades that you'd recommend?
Thanks,
A

if all you want is color, then get the calipers powder coated. Very durable finish, unlimited choice of colors.

Calliper covers

Hi these are caliper covers made by Mgp calipercovers which are bolt on. They come in many colors and can have customize engraving on them for a few dollars more. Hope this helps Larry

Thanks guys.
That's a great looking car Larry.
I have seen some covers and not sure if I'll go that route, get them painted or upgrade the brakes.
Been reading that switching to stainless steel brake lines improve braking....any input?

F30 M brakes

The F30 M brakes will bolt directly to a E89 35IS with 19" wheels. The rear brakes will work as well but you will lose the E-brake. I installed the the front and painted my rears to match.

Here are some closer pictures of the covers mentioned above. The front oneís are a perfect fit but they could have done better on the rears. They look good enough until I get around to upgrading the brakes when they are needed. The stock brakes on the 35is are very good for street driving. Iíve never tracked the car so I canít speak about their capabilities there.

Thanks Gents.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised.....but, want to let you know that all of your cars look great.
I am gathering that all Z4 owners are particular and meticulous (35is in particular)....I've been called both along with many other derogatory names....such is life.
I awaiting delivery of the "beast" and going through what options/upgrades I want to add.
I only drove it for 2 days and.....it screemed and was a blast to drive. Faster than my old Audi S5, and handled well. I had read all kinds of reports on the run flat tires and all the negative reports of the car. I'm not out to track this auto but want to have a car that I enjoy...and know what's in it.
I will add some extra and the beast will be garaged.....
Having fun with my first BMW.....what more can I ask.
