Control Arm Bushing vs Warped Rotors

Trying to diagnose a worsening shimmy problem under braking. Pads look fine, but I believe my rotors are the problem. Also thinking the control arm bushings could be the source, but I'm not experiencing any front end shimmy under moderate speeds 60-80, only under braking. Any thoughts?

Thought number 1
Control arm bushings are begining to go bad. That was the first thing I noticed before I began to get a vibration between 50 to 60 MPH.

Thought number 2
refer to thought number 1 (LOL)...

You can start to feel it first when your braking, before the 50-60 shimy. If you feel the vibration more when you brake downhill (ie more weight on the front of the car) that's an almost sure sign for thrust arms. Get underneath your car and check to see if you can see any cracks in the rubber bushing, if so it's time to change them, best of luck.

As long as you continue braking, does the shiimmy or shake continue until you stop? It may be the rotors. I am experiecing a shimmy as I described. I think it is brake rotors. iIturned the rotors about 20,000 miles ago to stop the shimmy. It is back again only when braking at any speed.

May just replace the rotors. My upper thrust arms were replaced with lemforder arms and I believe 750i bushings about 2 years ago.
