E82 / E87 / E88 / F20 1 Series (2008 - 2014)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by a naturaly aspirated inline 6 in the 128 or the turbo twin power inline 6 rocket sled 135.

Mein Auto:
Oil like leak front right wheel

I have a oil looking coloured liquid leaking under my car. Im not car techy at all and was hoping someone might know.

Looks like from research it could be the front right shock absorber. A slight squeek could be heard recently too from that side. I'm concerned it's break fluid or something.

Ideally I'm after
- Is it the absorber
- is it safe to drive to a garage
- any other advice

I don't believe in normal practice there is a way for either brake fluid/engine oil to be where it has "spilled" I'm guessing it's the shock
especially if you are saying it's squeaking
