Mein Auto:
E90 frm module

Hi all my frm module seems to be dead all usual signs no indicators central locking etc I am removing it and sending it of to repair. Does anyone know if the car can be used while the module is out of the car as will be a few days till I get it back obviously taping up electrical connections thanks in advance

Considering that the (N)FRM controls such things as windows and exterior lighting, I would say no, not safely.

The limited warranty on the FRM was extended by BMW to 10 years/156,000 miles from the vehicle's original in-service date. You provided no details about your car so Step One might be to determine whether you are still covered.

Mein Auto:
I have checked and am within the waranty but due to corona virus dealer cannot do till at least July I already have no windows working no indicators hazards etc so I was thinking removing for few days to get repaired best option
