7 Series - E65 / E66 (2002 - 2008)
Discussion of BMW's 4th generation E65/E66 7 Series flagship. The E65 generated much controversy, due to its radical styling and iDrive user difficulties. Nonetheless, the E65 broke records to become the best-selling 7-series iteration ever, especially after its 2005 facelift.

4 beeps while driving

Question, while driving sometimes I get these 4 beeps (3 short beeps and a long one on the 4th beep). What the heck is that? Thanks.

Yup, that was it. Chimes in on the hour, every hour. This is first road trip so we kept hearing it. It's under settings, clock, memo I think. Thanks.

Glad I had seen this thread. The beeping was driving me nuts. Just shut off the memo.

Just chiming in to say thanks to all! Could not think of what it was, and it didn't start until I replaced the ASK unit.
