7 Series - G11 / G12 (2016 - current)
The next generation G11/G12 BMW 7 Series flagship forum. Unveiled June 10th, with production starting in August the 6th generation 7 Series comes in a light weight package with extensive use of BMW i carbon fiber technology. The interior quality raises the bar with a touch screen and gesture controlled infotainment system. Exterior styling has been a sticking point with mixed reviews so far.

$5,000 Option Credit until Sept. 30

I saw someone mention on the "Ask a Dealer" forum that there is a $5K option credit on the 7-series (and 6-series) this month ending Sept. 30. That basically means you get $5,000 off the selling price right off the bat. Plus add any other incentives/discounts. Applies to 2016 & 2017 models.

I checked the BMWUSA website and verified: bmwusa.com/special-offers.html

Where do you see the 5K in that link -- I see lease $'s. Is the 5K offer on left over 16's or 17's?

It's there. $5000 Option Credit. 2016 and 2017 7series. Basically a deduction from cost assuming you have more than 5k in options or packages which is easy to do on a 7. This really helps to offset the currently low residual.

I click the link .. and get a list of all series.. click 7 and only see lease rates. Where are you going to see the 5K on 7?

Click on the drop down arrow next to the lease amount. You will see the option allowance

Click on the dollar lease payment link on the page, the tiny arrow pointing down, or the tiny text link that says "Important info". You'll see the $5,000 option allowance mentioned.

Another thing, their lease offers on the 7-series only includes 7,500 miles per year, which is unusual, but understandable since they want to make payment look as attractive as possible. Normally, lease offers are for 10,000 miles per year.

Wonder if the allowance is on purchased vehicles as well?

Yes, it applies to purchases too. Not just leases.
