X3 and X5 Lease Rate

Hi All,

Can someone please help me with the lease rate in Nov 2014? Fo all X3 and X5 models, the lease rate dropped by $30.00 from Oct to Nov. I don't see any holiday credit on X3 or X5 but the MSRPs are still the same in Nov as it was in Dec (i.e. X3 MSRP is 44.4K and 81K for X5 5.0). Is there some kind of loyalty program for current BMW customer? Holiday Credit but doesn't show up on the website? Change in Residual or Money Factor?

Thanks all.

Couple areas where the difference in payment can come from.

- Down payment
- Money Factor (I know Oct was .00129, not sure what Nov is)
- Lease term (Most Oct deals were on 36months while the deals advertised in Nov are on 39mo)

I see the same MSRP and down payments from Oct to Nov. Thats why I am a bit confused.
It is Still 36mo as (except X4 which is 39mo). Probably the holiday credit but the forgot to include on the website for X3 and X5. maybe Residual changed? Its 30 so probably 1K somewhere.

I'm curious to why the lease offer dropped by $40. Everything seems the same and the website makes no mention of holiday cash as stated for other models.

Any chance there's additional money to dealer and they are kind enough to pass some on??

The advertised deals really aren't all that good. They require a large down payment, which is never a good idea to de cap a lease. Also, there are additional fees you have to put down, the acquisition fee, dmv and tax. Your money is much better served to put down MSD's. Contact a board sponsor if you want to get a good deal.

I have a feeling BMW forgot to include the holiday credit on the website for X3 and X5. I called the dealer and they even confirmed same MSRP, Same down ($3,000), MF actually went up a bit, and the same residual but they couldn't figure out why the numbers went down on the website.

My guess is that the payment is really for 39mo program. Website still says 36mo for X5 and BMW forgot to update it. Can anyone confirm if there is a 39mo program for X5 now with the same residual?

There is no Holiday Credit on the X3 or X5. BMW is not offering 39 month leases on X3 or X5.

Source? I know it not listed on BMW site but Edmunds mods believe there is a 39 month program. Would be nice if a dealer can confirm or reject.

The BMWFS rate sheet I'm looking at in front of me since I work at a dealer.

Yes it would be nice but we can't even keep X3s or X5s in stock so no need.

Thanks guys - It's crazy that no one can explain how the payment dropped by 30-40$. I called BMWUSA leasing department and they confirmed it dropped but couldn't explain why. This is pretty much what they guy said " You are correct, Payments dropped but the rates didn't changed."

Called a dealer and they said the payments went up so not sure who to trust now.

My CA just told me, "no 39-month lease deals on X5."

The "dealer contribution" could have increased. Basically, the discount on the car that wouldn't be advertised.
