Who leased in October with UDE credit in New York?

If you took delivery of your leased X5 in October in New York, and applied UDE credit, could you look at your sales contract to see how did they apply the UDE?

I am looking for copies of the itemized page to compare against something my dealer did.

Hyde,

I went to the same UDE you did. My X5 is on its way to the dealer right now. I'm intending to pick it up just before the UDE certificate expires (around 12/5), so I don't know what the final paperwork will look like, but on the worksheet the dealer applied the UDE as a down payment (which is better than as a rebate since then it's not taxed.) I questioned that and he said it's fine. I'm hopeful it comes through that way on the final documents.

Thanks dgkfl, I had a problem with mine, I realized they didn't apply it anywhere and I was still taxed, I am trying to see some examples so I can talk to them better and if needed take it up with BMWFS.

Hyde not sure if this helps cause I'm a NJ resident buying in PA but my CA had told me that I would pay luxury tax and sales tax on the total purchase price of the vehicle then deduct the 1K of the UDE credit, I haven't signed anything but that's what I was told, i think the UDE credit it's money that the dealer gets refunded back from bmw

Yes this is correct, we pay tax on UDE before UDE is applied, then deducted, but I really want to see some sales paperwork where they indicated $1000 UDE as Cash or Rebate or discount etc.. Because it is nowhere on my sales papers.
