Injen intake reviews?

http://www.modbargains.com/injen-air...P-SP1122WB.htm

22 WHP gain? LOL?

I feel like this is not true unless you have other mods.. and even then..

Has anyone installed this? i have a 2013 328ixdrive sportline.. was wondering if they will improve my cars sound without changing my stock exhaust yet.

i have one installed on my 335i. Its honestly amazing, throw the car in sport and just drive around you get so many looks. Im guessing it shouldnt be that much different on the 338, great and cheap mod. Not too sure about the power gains though

You hear the turbo ALOT more, you wont regret it at all. Yea dps are hella expensive, for now if your looking for something quick and easy to install, cold air intake is the way to go. Like i said though, not too sure about any power gains

I have one on my '15 335, it's 98% for the sound. I'm FBO so I'm guessing I gained maybe 10hp but that's my butt dyno

You may throw some CEL with the sensitive MAF.

no downsides really. other than a little weight and possible rattling if you dont torque your screws. the turbo sound alone makes it priceless.

FYI all turbo cars sound like this with the injen intake. injen makes some decent ****

Sucking hot air from the engine compartment, are you sure you want to do that?

Get the catted DP instead, Fabspeed rocks!

The kit has plates and weather stripping to block off the engine compartment so air is pulled from the stock fresh air supply and driver side front grill/headlight/fender openings/gaps.

The negatives to this kit are needing to bring a bag to the car wash to wrap the filter in if you want to spray off the engine bay and I had to trim a factory plastic cover over some relays on the driver side strut tower for the plate to fit right.
