M4 ED Questions

Iím trying to squeeze in a European Delivery in September of an M4 before they go out of production. Iíve never had an M car but I feel, for me, itís do it now or never. Iíve done 3 prior EDís but Iím not sure if Mís are the same.

Do M EDís come out of the dealerís allocation? I seem to think they used to but maybe not anymore.

Do you still calculate invoice price the same? ED MSRP x .93 with options x .92.

I doubt Iíll get much of a deal but weíll see.

It may be too late ... but this may help others as well.

Yes, at least my 2016 M3 ED did come out of the dealer's allocation.

No, use the following as a guide

Base vehicle European Delivery invoice price = (Base vehicle US MSRP x 0.95 x 0.93) + $475

To figure the European Delivery invoice price of your BMW as configured add -
+ Option and packages (anything you can add to the vehicle) multiplied by 0.92
+ Destination and handling charge - Currently $995
= Total vehicle European Delivery invoice price +/- $10.00

I doubt Iíll get much of a deal but weíll see.

You can get invoice + xxxx pricing, but if the car comes from dealer allocation, you will pay more than a normal series production car. These days, unless you are getting a rare/limited production model or a recently launched model, US delivery will be about the same or cheaper than ED. That said, I am set to do my 4th ED soon, it is the best way to buy a car, even if for slightly more money.

I did ED in May for my M5 and it came out of dealer allocation.
