Service Reminder Reset

I have the 2014 X1 sDrive without the nob on the console. On June 1, 2018, I had BMW do the service including oil change. The service interval was not reset from the 03/2019. Now I have gone through the yellow service reminder to the red service reminder and now a red triangle will come on for a few seconds leaving a yellow triangle in the message areal.

How can I manually reset the service as to get rid of this reminder. Will be taking it back to BMW for oil change etc in late May.

Found it on the internet. This time, I am going to make sure they reset the reminder before I leave.

I don't remember when my dealer ever reset the computer. That's why I get service reminders every two months to change the oil. Every "visit" to the dealer is $500.00.

I reset mine so it stores the data on the key(s). If you reset the intervals every time, it is "proof" you did the service. I happen to do my service so that becomes proof sans "".

Great.

But how can I reset it myself? I doubt the dealer will tell me. He's just tell me to bring it in for more costly service that should have been done the last time they forgot to re-set it.

Like how the car came with metal RFT tire stems. But every time they "service" the car, it comes back with silver plastic tire stems. I once bought all chrome caps from Auto Zone. After the next service, I got silver plastics back again. It just irritated me that some wealthy Palm Beach dude driving a 740l BMW was driving around with my chrome metal tire stem caps.

Living in South Florida, where day time temperatures can be over 80 degrees and in the winter, might go below 50 degrees at the ground, they don't tell you that the reason that all four Tire Pressure Indicators go off is because you just need to re-set the indicators. Not bring the car in for more expensive service.

Proving once again that liquids and gasses expand and contract due to rising or falling temperatures.
