What did you get to replace it? My 14 328d is at 181,000 miles and I'm thinking about getting a used 18 328d. Love the car, perfect commuter!

I ended up with a lexus suv. Needed a bit more room and more comfortable ride for the (senior) dogs and family. The 328d wagon was great for commuting with 40 to 45 mpg, just a bit cramped when traveling with 3 dogs in tow.

No repairs! The car has been perfect. It just threw a check engine light at 180,000, I have to order a scanner to pull the code. I've replaced one headlight bulb, oil and oil filter every 10,000 miles and fuel filter every 30,000 miles (about every 10 months, I fill up at a high-traffic station). And tires every 50,000 roughly. The car has been a dream. Too bad they're not making them anymore.

Out of curiosity, what did you sell it for?

No luck selling it privately? Seems like a perfect used car buy- still eligible for a bmw 6/100 warranty, great solid BMW at ~50-60% of new MSRP.

OE is Original Equipment aka 'BMW Original Parts' aka 'What you buy at the BMW dealer with a BMW label'

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer... EITHER the company that made the OE part or.... A part this is identical to the OE part, but is sold by the OEM under their own label

OEM is not what BMW sells

Will do! I'm interested myself, I'm guessing it's a MAP sensor. Vehicle shuts off kind of rough. I'll keep you posted.

I got my 2016 328d and it has been great car as well. I also change the oil and air filter myself at about every 8-10k miles. I haven't heard about the fuel filter, do you have a link for the part and any visual aid how to change it ?

Fuel filters are a good item to replace on diesel cars. Water and other contaminants will wreak havoc on our fuel systems. I don't have a part number handy, I order them from ECS Tuning. They're excellent to go through.
