Wipers

I just brought a 2016 535, however the windshield wipers are throwing me off they don't look right to me, like something is missing. Can someone post of picture of their wipers? Does yours look like this? Is a cap missing????? Thanks in advance.

I've seen a few wiper threads over the years, and I'll throw my two cents in.

I've had great luck sourcing BMW part# 61617438125, which is replacement rubbers and end caps only but for <$15 from places like ECS.

Once you have one set of OEM/genuine frames, maybe two sets if it makes you feel better, you can swap out just the rubber with genuine parts for only $15 a shot. No need to spend $30-$50 on aftermarkets like Bosch or $100 on genuine swaps.

That part# seems to be difficult to find, with a lot of parts systems not even resolving it into a valid PN.

I've bought the genuine wiper refills from BMW SF on Amazon each year, $15:

You could also buy a set of Bosch Aerotwins from FCP Euro for $26 and never have to pay for them again with their lifetime warranty.

Don't go for Rain-x wipers. I have used every brand imaginable and they were the first ones I took off that did not wear out. They suck. :-)
