I have precisely the same issue with the left rear sill light being out. I have pried the sill off before only to find that there is almost no slack in the wire, as if it's pinched by something. Also, it seems to be routed towards the front of the car as opposed to being routed towards the carpeting. Guess I'll have to pop it apart again for another inspection. I really like that blue led conversion also. If I can figure out where my connector is hiding for the one that's not functioning, I'll start with that one and eventually replace them all.

You can purchase ready made leds with the resistors already built in on ebay very inexpensively. That's what I'm going to do. I've see bundles of 20 on there for $5 t0 $6 (US).

Never mind. I'm an idiot. You already answered that question.

Today after my last door sill (driver side) has give up. I've decided to start and fix all of them, is quite fiddly but it can be done, and the result, are awesome! I have use 3mm white led with a resitor already soldered, brought from ebay, the cheapest one, as i use them in the past for various projects and they last for ever.
I scrap that ribbon cable as is not nedded it it may potentially cause other issues.
Tools used were: knife, solder iron, Glue gun, a solid kater. It took me 4 hours to get it done, and half an hour to find the right toola to get the job done.

That looks great. I thought about buying the LED door sills from eBay. They look pretty good. I watched a couple of video of guys that have them on BM’s as well. What’s your thought on them??

My 2016 had the divers side go out, so I bought one from eBay to replace it. Now all 4 don't work. Does anyone know if there is a fuse somewhere? There's so many of them split between two locations, and I can't find a list of which one does what.

Well I found the fuse. It's #5 in the glove box (10 amp).

Unfortunately for me, the fuse only got the two on the passenger side working.

I finally got around to taking it apart and replacing the led with an orange one from eBay as described above. Worked perfectly. Cost me $1.69 for 8 lights. I replaced the two on the driver's side and they look good as new. Thanks for the info above!
