New headlights for E70 pre LCI

Hey Guys,

Anyone tried these headlights? Is it worth the upgrade?

Cheers

Looks like these were just released. I have a Pre LCI and just cut off the old lenses and did some tweaks. Once they're open, you can add new halos for an LCI look ( or even the ones you see in the new 3 series). I did that route and is much cheaper-- but for a plug and play option, these Mars headlights look good.

I think these Mars units came up before....

I wonder if they are stock units they are just cutting open and modifying themselves? I'd be shocked it they have paid $400k plus for molds and parts to sell E70 headlights.... If these lights have been copied in Asia, or there are OEM parts in the market, maybe they are getting them there?

IMO the quality has got to be the same as a home brew solution- which may be fine- but despite the nice website, I can't imagine a very deep company behind all this. Just saying.

OE is Original Equipment aka 'BMW Original Parts' aka 'What you buy at the BMW dealer with a BMW label'

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer... EITHER the company that made the OE part or.... A part this is identical to the OE part, but is sold by the OEM under their own label

OEM is not what BMW sells

Only a viable option for those with halogen. If you have xenon or auto adjusting stick with OEM.
