2014 650 vibration

Bought last summer with 26k miles, beautiful car. Been to dealer 5x, they acknowledge the issue but after replacing drive shaft, cat, force balance tire, replaced tires, o2 sensors. The vibration starts between 35-40, 50 and 70, it's not drastic but everyone in the car feels it. It's particularly prevalent when the car is in cruise control going up a hill putting a load on the engine. Have have about six months of warranty left on a car and hopefully someone out there has an answer. Thanks

Hi same here with 530d F07. You can provoke it by going around 60 and manually putting it in the highest gear that transmission allows and accelerating using more torque than normal. You will be hearing clear rumbling sound and slight vibration. I am going to check mine on Tuesday. My mechanic suspects one of the guibos- balancing/damper bearing or differential. One of the members in different thread (7 series) had loose screw on the diff, others still didn't solve the problem.

Have figured if it's throttle related (must be accelerating) or speed related (still get the vibration cruising at the speeds you mentioned)?

Responding to the last 2 posts. Vibration is caused when accelerating and load, like a hill. I'll see about checking a differential that seems to make some sense. BMW spent $10,000 in parts on this car why would they check the differential?

I have the same issue with my f10 550i. I get vibration that can be felt in the seat and body when accelerating somewhat hard in the 55-75mph range in top gear. Don't feel it at full throttle and don't feel it at higher or lower speeds. Also lower gears seem to reduce the issue.

Just as a data point I had a similar issue that wasn't resolved on my 335d. I suspect the issue was a bad rear diff. We eliminated wheels, tires, brakes, etc. the reason I suspect it was a bad diff is tHe issue became more noticeable when using poly subframe mounts. It also only had the vibration issue under hard acceleration in high gear.

Just another suggestion to solving the problem. My problem was in the end a remap where suddenly after 4 months gerbox started to make those vibrations because torque was to high. This is a feature in gearbox to do this so check remap first.
