New proud owner of an '84 733i

Picked up this old gem last week. All it needed was a new steering box which I already had repaired this past Saturday. It's in absolutely amazing condition. And the best part is I only paid $500 for it! All power options work on it too. Can't wait to summer this beauty Click image for larger version

There's something to be said about some old bmers. I find they age really well.

Welcome, itís a great ride, and they are remarkable cars.
I have the same 84. 733 Black / tan 5sp with 65k. Not a rocket ship but nothing sits at 80 like these do, nothing. Enjoy.
So I also have an 86 635 with a loose steering box. Canít find anyone to work on it, Iím clueless, apparently there is an adjustment but it doesnít seem to make any difference.
Where/ who did you get to rebuild/ repair your box ?
Thanks very much
D

There were quite a few 7s this year. My 84 733 manual didn't get to go. Broken radiator inlet neck.***x2639;***xfe0f;
