Heated seats and IHKA retrofit

Dear guys..

I would appreciate a little help. I persume this thread can apply to f30 series also.

Friend of mine has bought m sport seates with heating function and then he also bought new IHK climate console ith heated seats buttons ( he has single zone IHKA)..

He bought same single zone IHK. I have added 494 code to VO and insert new cafd to IHK but IHK seems not to respond.. Lights for right passanger heated seat is on and only center LED on ventilation velocity LED , buttons doesnt work or anything...

Now i dont know is it up to coding or maybe that IHK is not compatible... His car is 2012 and i think that IHK with heating buttons is from 2015 ( LCI model ) ...- can this be th case for IHK not to work?

Thank you for your replies )))
