Convert .kml to BMWData format?

Hi, I have been busy with this for the last days:
https://www.velowire.com/article/104...gle-earth.html

That's a .kml file from Google Maps, there are other versions I think of this too (it's a stage of the upcoming Tour de France 2019).

I wanted to convert this .kml file to .xml file that is accepted by the BMW system (it needs a .tar.gz but inside there is a .xml formatted file).

I think I know how to convert, but BMW system has problems when the file has many coordinates (I got a first .kml file that I tried that had 10900 coordinates, because it's a stage of the Tour de France and very well defined, street by street, place by place).

Any smart way to get this converted? All help is welcomed!
