F06 4 Blown Tires - Should I move from 20" to 19" wheels?

I have had enough! Last week, I blew tire #4 in 20 months of ownership. These RFTs on 20" wheels are disasters. Should I "downgrade" my wheels to 19" and ditch the RFTs? If so, does anyone know the desired tire sizes for staggered wheels on a 2016 F06?

My Dunlop RFTs were hot garbage. I had a tire fail and learnes that all 4 were dangerously compromised (inner sidewalls).

If you like the security of Runflats the Bridgestones are much better. I believe Michelin released a RFT that fits which should be even better. I've had them on 20s on a 640i. I would consider non-RFT before switching to 19s.

I ended up getting an Alpina B6 without RFTs and I can't go back to RFTs (except for a SUV).

I have blown FOUR Bridgestones. I will consider Non-RFTs but I am also considering trading the car.

Thanks.

Which model Bridgestone?

The Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZPs are the newer RFTs I was referencing.

I have a 2015 with 20" and have blown 3 non runflat tires in 2 years. 1 pothole, 1 rock and 1 pinched against a curb. I don't trust these wheels/tires for anything but local driving. I am looking at getting 19's but not sure what is appropriate to spend. Have seen everything from Velox at Costco (~$250 each), OZ Leggera HLT ($~450 each) to Vossen HF-1 (~$550 each). I am most worried about flats, not bent rims at this time but the quotes are from $2k to $4k including tires.
