Anyone have experience with these fault codes? What am I looking at here? Car ran fine yesterday. Parked overnight and this morning will not come out of park with a transmission malfunction message. My BMW scanner read the fault codes in the pictures.

Check your battery voltage first. Low voltage can throw odd errors. If you do have a bad pressure converter, you can purchase an entire set for $350. Replacement is not much more effort than a fluid/filter replacement.

A glimpse of good news. I already had my car towed to my Indy. Now I wish I kept it. I scanned the car completely before it left though. The battery checked out ok.

Any chance you have a link for the set? Shop said they need to replace valve six but the kit for all of them is 10 days out for ordering. Quoted $1100 + diagnostic hour.

It will be either the 6HP26 or 28 E shift. Check the side of the transmission to be sure.

The above links are what I used. You need an extra 2L of fluid when you drop the valve body.

Thank you. Any recommended additional services while they have it apart?

Adding some info to my old thread because I finally received the detailed service entry for this repair. I lost the first one. In order to replace the solenoid, the entire valve body is removed and drained. This means that this repair resulted in an entire AT fluid drain and refill. Not just the 1/3 or so you get from a service drain and fill. All valve body sleeves and adapter sleeves were replaced. New pan and filter. This was done at 142,939 miles and I am now almost up to 159,000 miles. Works great.

A drain and fill is more than 1/3. You get about 6 out of a trans that holds around 10
So 60%.
