Rennline exactfit phone mount and trim issue

Hi guys, New owner of a 2015 BMW F30 and bimmerfest poster.....I couldn't find much on this forum index on the Rennline Exactfit mount but I wanted to tell ya all that I highly recommend it. Makes the interior look sleek as hell. Picture below.

During the installation process, I did manage to break the plastic piece that retains the skinnier portion of top trim. This piece is screwed into the instrument panel. Of course everyone and everything warned me about this.....but it still happened.

I'm reaching out for help for a part number. I've looked everywhere and cannot find this particular plastic retention piece that hold the trim clips on the right side on the vehicle. Picture below. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Have you tried to find the part in RealOEM.com? Just put in the last 7 of your VIN or put in your model info.

Thanks Khammack,

That's a great site and it seems to have every part imaginable. I was able to figure out that the right defroster grill is what retains the molding. A whopping $65 dollars for some plastic! ouch!

Maybe I can find a pick and pull around the DC area!

Thanks dudes!

Not many in the area these days. Potomac German Auto in Frederick MD, Crazy Ray's (various locations closer to Baltimore), Brandywine Auto Parts/Foreign Car Parts near Andrews AFB.

Your time would be better spent buying new. Be sure to check online/internet pricing at BMW of Silver Spring, Passport BMW & BMW of Fairfax. You might be able to get the discount & skip the shipping & handling with local pickup.

For $65 I would buy the new part and finish that project. No reason to spend time trying to save such a small amount of money.
