2014 BMW 328i (used- under 100000 miles)

Hi. I bought my car in December of 2019 and it's been 6 months since I bought it.

I have been able to connect my car to Bluetooth but I am only able to use it for talking on the phone. It won't play any of my music using Bluetooth. I have to always hook up to the Aux cord instead. Every time I try to hook to Bluetooth for music, it just states that that feature is "unavailable" or something along those lines. Why is that? Anyone have any ideas?

And if I am in the wrong thread, please direct me to the correct one. Thanks!

BMW had two tiers of bluetooth. Tier 1 was voice only, tier 2 voice + audio streaming. Tier 2 was an option and it sounds like your car does not have it.

Yes I believe you can code in enhanced Bluetooth.

S6NS Comfort telephony w/ enhanced Smartphone

See if you have this option/package by going to

https://www.mdecoder.com and put in the last 7 digits of your VIN.

I did a search that will assist you with threads on this issue

https://www.google.com/search?q=can+...hrome&ie=UTF-8

good luck
