I have a 18 440i vert and it's a winner. It handles beautifully and b58 turbo goes like hell and is smooth as silk. You're gonna love it brother! If you are going to order one, get all the options that you want so that you will be able to keep it a good, long time!

I too have an 18 convertible, which we really enjoy. As C Joe says the B58 is awesome. I added the MPPSK exhaust which made a noticeable difference in attitude in Sport Mode, much better throttle response and great engine burbles. The nice thing is you can put it into comfort when you need to be courteous of the neighbors.

Have a 540i and it is awesome. To this point there are few if any reports of issues but it is still relatively new. Time will tell if it will suffer from many major common problems, hopefully not.

Enjoy your ride Bosco. I love the color too! I got Snapper Rocks Blue. It's perfect in Sarasota, you know the ocean and all!

@dbosco Just picked up a 17' 440i myself man, got a set of Kw v2s on it already. it was enough to get me to turn my back on the Japanese tuner car scene. (which I loved for a long time)

@closem Joe I see you're from SRQ man, small world. I'm a fellow 941 local myself.

That's a nice car you have there! Maybe we'll see each other around. I know you'll be able to spot my Snapper real easy!

According to Youtuber Exotic Car Play Place, it's the most reliable current BMW engine.

You will enjoy your ride.... I certainly have enjoyed mine. Still getting compliments! Mostly for the color, but they also like the BBS 19" alloys.
I have had my 2018 440i Coupe since May 10, 2017. I love driving this car..... maybe a little too much. I am about to turn 60k miles. Most of those are highway miles back and forth to SoCal and NorCal From the Tucson area.
Made a road trip to O'Fest 2019 last year in Greenville, SC. This was the 50th Anniversary. My brother and I made the road trip of 2 weeks and 5200 miles. We did a big loop after Greenville. We averaged 31 mpg for that trip. It definitely helped using the 93 octane fuel once we got to Texas and all the way back around. The B58 is a pretty amazing motor.
We had absolutely ZERO problems on that trip. We also Hit Charleston, Jacksonville, Cape Canaveral, Orlando, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio and Carlsbad Caverns on the way back to Arizona.
