destination and handling charge on SC delivery

I'm currently getting all my figures together before I place my order for a 2014 335i. Does the destination and handling charge still apply for a SC delivery? I realize the car is still transported from Germany but since it doesn't have to be transported by truck to my dealer I wasn't sure if this charge still applied.

Thanks!

Yes they still charge that or at least they did on my scheduled PCD.

You might be able to argue it, in the end the car is still shipped via RORO to a port and then trucked from Charleston so it seemed fair to me so I didn't argue it but maybe I am incorrect? When I was researching what to pay for mine I don't recall anyone ever getting the destination charge removed and everyone seemed to start with Invoice which included the destination charge.

You can't argue with it. The charge is universal. It applies to a vehicle built in the South Carolina plant that is delivered at the Performance Center.

Well, SC is a destination, and the car still must be prepared for you, so I would think that the charge would hold.
