I was sad to see it go but at least it is still in the family and I was promised visitation rights.

Captain,

Congrats on the new acquisition, it sure is a beauty. You have been an asset and great contributor to the E9X subforum and I sincerely hope that every once in a while you will still stop in and see what's going on in the old neighborhood.

All the best,

Kat

Thanks kat

One of the best things (probably THE best thing) about owning the E93 was the many new friends I made through Bimmerfest, Climb to the Clouds and various other BMW themed organizations and events.

The day after I traded my E60 away, I woke up in mourning like a friend had died. I felt weird for having those feelings but there they were. So I understand.

Looks like you are headed to a good place though. I look forward to your new car review.

I am happy that the E93 went to a good home and I suspect that my friend who purchased it will become part of the community. He drove it from New York to Florida and we transferred the title on Monday. I think it will spend the Winter in Florida and go back to NYC in the spring. It has been meticulously maintained and is in showroom condition inside and out.

CA,

Forgot to ask, but just curious - how many miles did you end up having on the E93 before letting it go?

Those are the stock 18s.

I definitely do not want 19s.

If you have some that you think will look better PM me and I'll send you my shipping address.
