Car cover recommendations/opinions

Hi guys,

I got my first BMW two weeks ago and would like to hear what other owners think. For most of the year I park my car in a public garage but in the summer my family moves to the summer house that doesn't have a garage. My usual arrangement is to work 4 days in the city and then come back for weekend. During these 4 days the car is not used and is just sitting outside. Is it worth it to buy a cover to protect the car during those days or just wash it on Fridays when I'm back? If it's the cover option, cover recommendations will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gene

It will help with the UV but that's about it. It won't keep the car clean, especially if it rains.

I'm on my 3rd Noah cover. They last about 2 1/2, 3 years tops. They have a 4-year warranty but you have to pack it up and send it back, then wait.

Get a reflective sun screen to put in the front and rear windows.

No.

Itís a PITA especially if wet.

Iím convinced after buying and selling three of them itís just not generally a good option, unless your car spends months at a time outdoors.
