Banging

Hi have a 2004 X3 that is making a banging noise when making sharp turns in parking lots any ideas?

Could be many things. Have it put up on a rack to check the giubo, CSB, U-joints, ... but could be the TC's actuator gear.

But before that, scan the codes with a BMW-specific code reader.

Mein Auto: Glacier Silver X4 M40i
Transfer case. Disconnect electrical wires to the TC, drive the car. If the noise goes away (because you will be driving a rear-wheel vehicle), then your TC is the issue.
