Dash screen keeps rebooting

Hi Guys,

As the title says, my whole screen keep resetting randomly like when your power goes out on your PC and it reboots. I have the standard BMW sound system, no NAVI. This is randomly happening and pretty frequently. I知 guessing this is a fuse short? I知 contacting my CA tomorrow but for the time being I知 afraid my whole electrical system will short out and my car will stop running.

Any clue why this is happening and how to prevent it? Also, the car is about 7 months old; do I need a software update?

Take it to the dealer, they should take care of it.

Mine did the same thing. Diagnosed as low voltage error on the CIC unit. Dealer ordered a new one from Germany. This is on a new 2013 335xi

my 328i 2013 model is a month old and I've got Lighting package and Harman Kordon sound nothing else. My dash rebooted some 50 times while I was on road few days ago. I took it to the dealer and they did not find anything as it was happening at that time.
Yesterday the entire left side speakers were not working all of a sudden. But in the morning today everything is fine. Now I am not sure if I should take it to the dealer.

My question is,,, its freaking 45k car and it has all these silly electrical problems and I have to keep making rounds to the dealer with in 2 months of buying it. What the hell BMW
