Good thing I got out of my Montego blue and into red. I feel much calmer now.

Funny thing is that all my BMW's are blue and I just ordered another blue one. When I showed my daughter an estoril blue online, she asked "how come we always get blue cars?" I should've replied, "Because I'm a road rager and proud of it!"

I guess tomorrow after I take delivery of my very BLUE Estoril 335i I will be driving very courteous and allow others drivers to cut me off as I will just wave, smile and say you're welcome. Then tailgate him the next 22 miles, honking the horn and giving them the one finger salute. Gotta keep the stereotyped image up! Always one step ahead of the tree hugging Prius drivers.

Imperial Blue here!!! I am usually calm and let others pass with no issues but when someone honks on a highway and tailgates me even though I am in middle or left lane, I get pissed and let him pass-over and do the same. TIT-for-TAT!

so.... years ago i drove a 2005 acura TSX. i used to live in the bay area and on the way up there from los angeles (where i grew up) during some holiday trip i was driving up I-5....

I was in the slower lane, and a white E90 330i (i think this was in 07 or 08) was in the fast lane. I don't think its a BMW thing really since i drove my TSX proabably harder than this BMW.

Anyway mr. bmw at the time decides randomly he wants to switch lanes, and nearly kills me (at something like 85mph) since he didn't look to the right and nearly switched lanes right into my car. i see him doign this and thank god the TSX is a pretty narrow car, so i swerve off into the gravel / dirt part of the road to the right of the freeway to avoid dying.

Anyway this idiot and what was likely his wife nearly killed me. as i'm assuming in a FWD acura at 85mph being sideswiped on a freeway i'd have probably lost control badly. So for some reason rather than stopping or being in shock, i got my car back on the freeway and caught up to the BMW guy.

He then got highbeamed and honked at at 90mph for the next 100 miles.

I'm pretty sure he thought i was crazy but he probably came close to killing me. This is the type of person who 6 years later buys a blue BMW.

Not all BMW owners are like this. Sounds like a lease owner that just buys it for a status symbol not because the car drives the best in it's class.
