Enable Performance Control on non-M Sport car?

Hi All; hoping to pickup a 35i with sport line package soon. It's Got pretty high miles but the price is right and I'm pretty comfortable around cars so I'm not worried about keeping up with maintenance. I was trying to find a car with the M Sport package but no luck.

Anyone know if a dealer or other BMW tech could enable the (dynamic) performance control setting that was on M Sport models which featured an 80/20 rear to front split with some brake based torque vectoring? From the literature it sounds more like a software setting than a hardware feature so I'm guessing it's possible.

Thanks!
