Window Regulators. As I see other less expensive cars with stout window regulators, I think BMW made them weak on purpose. They have to keep the service department busy, I guess.

That traction control isn't 'OFF' by default when you start it.

Never understood this complaint. I have to drive like a madman to get the DSC to kick in on the street (in normal weather conditions). And for the track, holding a button for a couple seconds isn't really a big deal.

I hate that I'm not a mechanic myself because I actually like doing work on my BMW that I love so much. The Dealers Rape you and these INDY mechanics don't know what they're doing half the time... If I (who doesn't know squat about cars) can do the job better than a mechanic and all I did was watch a simple DIY video there's something wrong their.

I really love my 2007 328 xi coupe (what model # is that?) except for one thing. The seat belt placement, rubs on my neck all the time.

That'd be an E92.

Not sure in which way they hit you're neck, would some of these would work?

The streets ARE my track...

It wasn't a serious complaint, really. Winter time is the only time I regularly turn it half off to help around town (read: I like to drive around like a jackask in snow), and even then it's a tap on it, not hold and turn it all the way off.

The only thing I hate about my ZHP is that it isnt big enough to sleep in. Also, it makes me burn gas as I find myself driving for no reason.

The latches are inside the trunk, just below the rear window package shelf....kind of a pain in the ass to release, but I think they did it for security reasons, to prevent casual thieves from accessing the trunk from the interior.

if I don't have a shirt collar on, the belt rides up my shoulder and rubs my neck and the passenger seat also. If I raise the seat I bump my head.

Did you ever try raising or lowering the belt guide to better suit your driving position ?

Friend of mine from another `net group lives in Inverness, and a couple of summers ago, when we were all complaining about the heatwave here in the US, Fred put it into perspective by reporting : "It`s the middle of July....it`s 47 degrees and raining, and I just turned the central heating on".....

Not too great in the winter. Have dedicated blizzaks and I load up my trunk with 3-4 bags of salt but still.

But I will make that compromise for great driving during the other 330 or so days of the year.

Mein Auto: 2003 BMW 330i sport.
Hi everyone.
This is my first post.
Also my first bmw. I think, for what it is, it's a great car.
As for my hate list, there is only one real complaint. It's the absence of an LSD. Very annoying having the inside rear wheel spinning coming out of a corner. Really cuts down on the fun. Must be a lot worse on a 335!

As for trivial complaints, there are a few:

I find the alarm that goes off when the outside temp hits 3deg C can be a little startling.

The Traction control and stability control off lights are too bright.

The way I sit, the high beam indicator is always blocked by my steering wheel.

Poor range on the keyless entry.

The shifter feels quite rubbery. (I'm sure an aftermarket shifter would help alot)
