Possible purchase of '15 535i xDrive

All, got through my run of test drives for the next car and I think this is the one. This wil be my firm BMW purchase so I had a few quick questions on what to look for.

Vehicle is 2015 535i xdrive with an active certified warranty through 9/20/20. 47k miles.
The plan is to keep it for roughly 4 years/100k miles but that could shift either way.

1) What bigger ticket maintenance items outside of the norm (brakes, tires)should I look deeper into on the vehicle?
2) is it worth extending the warranty now (roughly $3900 to extend through 2023/125k) or am I better off negotiating this near the end of the cpo expiration or going Route 66?
3) At 47k are there any big items to be budgeting for in the near future (i.e. Timing belt)?
4) Any othe other pointers would be great!

I believe you have to renew/extend prior to the expiration of the factory warranty, not the CPO warranty.

Understood. I'll be sure to negotiate that now as that is near its expiration.

My 2015 535i at 41,000 miles started to get blower fan noise. The filter cover had deteriorated and the particles were just noisy debris in the housing. To clean out, and replace the filter cost just above $550. I have CPO but it is not covered. Should still be covered under warranty?

It is easy to check if your filter is breaking apart. In the engine bay, just in front of the passenger, there is 3 of the pop-up clips on a plastic shroud. Just pull them, and lift the plastic cover off. You can see the filter mesh easily.
