M340I Options and Pricing question.

I have been talking to a dealer and was able to get to 6% off MSRP plus any incentives?
First do you think If i wait a few months that the pricing will get better such as lower MSRP?

Second on the BMW site are there other options not listed there such as other colors I could choose? I have seen some really nice colors in other models I would rather have then the choices on the build page.

thanks for your time. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area.

MSRP will NEVER go down, the sales price will. Now, what you need to understand is taking dealer stock will always get you the lowest price, since they cost the dealer money each month the cars sit on their lots. I got a great deal the end of May Memorial day weekend... Labor day weekend or in Dec.

The dealer can give you a copy of he order guide so you can pick the options you want and that will be official on what can be had on your BMW, the web site has always been glitchy but it's a good way to see what you like.

Yes. Start researching "BMW Individual" and the special-order process. Search the configurators on BMW sites for other countries to get ideas. Most options available elsewhere in the world, provided they have US regulatory approval, can be requested here. Pricing is by quotation.

Standard BMW paint colors that are not offered for a particular model can usually be ordered through BMW Individual for an upcharge of (last I checked) $5,000.00, with a few exceptions (in both pricing and availability).

The last time we bought a BMW (March 2018) the "dealer invoice" price on the base car was 93% of MSRP, and the "dealer invoice" price on options was 92% of MSRP. Invoice and MSRP on the destination and handling charge was the same. So, 6% off of MSRP plus incentives is a reasonably good deal.

The incentives will get better at the end of the model year. But, getting the "leftover" discounts usually means having to buy a leftover off the dealer's lot, and not factory ordering one.

On the other bmw board and on leasehacker there are people that say they are getting 10% off msrp before incentives. Leasing a bmw now is a lot different than six years ago when invoice use to mean something.

Last month BWM was having 5K lease money on 2018 530e, So if you could get 10% off MSRP that means you could be leasing that car for less then 1% of MSRP.

Could be possible for a 1%. Check out this deal from lease hacker https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/2020-...l-check/127192

Even with 10% off his lease payments are over the 1% rule

Remember that person had a 9% sales tax and 15k miles per year. With 7% sales tax and 12k 1% is definitely doable

Ha, I am that person on leasehackr. Nice to stumble upon my own deal.
Just joined bimmerfest.

At least in the Philly area, the best I could do was 10.5% off MSRP before incentives. With lease cash, loyalty, an OL code, recent grad or any combination of these, combined with a 36/10K lease, 1% is very easily possible.

Hi buddy, I don't guess things don't work that way. There won't be fall in price how far I know.

Is black kidney grill an option on 2020 M340i?

I know the black grill around the kidneys can be ordered as an M option on a 330i but what about the 2020 M340i? Can this be made an option on a custom order? If not, I guess I could do a wrap on the metallic grill. Has anyone tried this mod?

good luck with these fairy tale deals. no ones getting a m340 for 1% rule. it took me two weeks back and forth just to get a 19 330i 15k a year 53k MSRP with the $3000 BMW owner incentive to get a hackr score of 8+. it all depends on where you live...if ur dad owned the lot you wouldnt get that on a m340. I have excellent credit and sold them my 16 428i for a check back to me. supply and demand dictates leases, not your 'negotiation skills'.

It depends on the market. If you live in NY/NJ and CA, where there is lots of competition, you can get a lot off. If you live in FL, they donít take much off.

Not exactly. You can order a car through any dealer in the US & have it shipped to the performance center. Last 3 BMW were 1 from Alabama & 2 from Oregon.

East coast is in SC. Don't know if there is a west coast version.

BMW does operate a West Coast Performance Center in Southern California's Coachella Valley. However, Performance Center Delivery is only available at the South Carolina location.

Back to the original question. If you identify a European option on the 5er, you can work with your dealer to get it as a special order option. I have done this several times over the 10 years. For example, I special ordered a black headliner, leather dash, and piano black trim which were European options and not US options at the time on various 5ers.

Mein Auto: MB AMG C43 (Not for long)
Hello all.
I'm new to BMW, but not to great car deals, especially when leasing. I'm close to being up on turning in my '17 AMG C43. I just worked through a deal yesterday. The numbers on the M340i right now are exceptional. I don't need a ton of miles, so 10k is all I am looking at... And the residual is 61% for 36/10. With a negotiated sales price of 11% below MSRP, the three $1000 rebates/incentives (lease cash/conquest/Autumn Event), and by dropping the base MF of 0.00128 with 7 MSDs, minimum down, (fees only)... my pre-tax monthly for an MSRP of $67,120 will be approximately $524 ($550 after 5% taxes).

I'm still Looking at what options I really want. Because of the great numbers.. I'm still adding options left and right. I just can't justify $500 for a wireless charger that might not even fit the new Note 10s, Lol.

I feel I need to research the different tires offered. My current AWD AMGs front tires didn't even last 12k miles. And yes... I know some of that blame is mine. Haha. But I want to know how getting Non RFTs will affect handling. Also, what the wear ratings are on the Summer tire vs All seasons. I think I'm leaning towards All season Runflats. Maybe a good in-between choice. I guess I should search here for any threads regarding all this, instead of hijacking this one. {Sorry}

So anyway... I'm planning on locking in my build and dropping my deposit by the middle of the week. 2 months works perfectly for me. And they will lock in my numbers, so if they change for the bad, I'll be safe. And it can only get better for me if they trend to the good.

So yes.. There are deals to be had.
And yes the region you live in does make a difference. This was a deal in a dealership in Memphis, to be registered in Mississippi. So results may vary... But definitely target ~10% off that sticker price!

Best of luck to you!
