Cigarette Lighter and wireless charging

Hello All. My wife just picked up a demo 330i Xdrive in Portimao Blue. The cigarette lighter and the wireless charging pad doesn't seem to be working. I'm thinking they might have pulled the fuse. I checked the fuse tray in the trunk but could not figure out for the life of me which fuse terminal and which symbol is for the cigarette lighter/wireless charger. Is there anyone here that can help me out?

Just thinking out loud here, "why not take it to the dealer and see what the problem is" since it's a new car"

Genius! LOL. It was the weekend and I was hoping that it was something stupid and simple. Already made an appointment to bring the car in. Thanks for the quick response!

My Escort radar detector just blew the front cig lighter fuse. Fuse is located "front passenger side." Where is that? I've looked under the hood, in the glovebox, under the glovebox, all to no avail.

My 12V outlet is dead too. There is supposed to be a fuse panel 'at the bottom of the A-pillar'. I've looked, pulled trim panels, nothing. Also nothing under the hood like shown in some F30 diagrams. ??? The fuse is F46.

The cigarette lighter / power sockets are powered by Terminal 30B, and only energized with 30B 'on'.

I don't understand. What is Terminal 30B and how is it turned on? FWIW, the one in the trunk works.

www.NewTIS.info. Enter with VIN-7. Search / browse. I searched on “cigarette” but I believe that they are called also power outlets.

A deeper topic for you to learn is Terminal Control

OK, I see where the 30B relay is, and what it does. Shouldn't other things besides the power socket be not working if this relay is not closing? In any case, the fuse is good, if the relay is bad, I'll let the dealer deal with it. I was just trying to avoid that waste of time.

The driver seat controls are also on terminal 30B. As are the USB sockets between the seats and below the rear vents (Fuse 74). Do those work?

Yes, they work. Like I said, there are lots of other things switched by 30B. Everything works but that power outlet. I may replace the fuse anyway, even though it appears fine.

LOL. Careful, the fuse right next to that one may work as well.

Many of the fuse holders are empty, including several in a row next to this one.

I swapped with a known good fuse, still doesn't work, so going to the dealer.

I had this happen and it turned out to be the adapter that came with the wireless kit.

Turns out the 12V outlet in front works. BMW as of 2019 has installed a shorter 12V outlet in front. Many plugs now don't reach far enough into them for the side terminals to make contact. The trunk plug is still a deeper socket. Googling found some instances of people having the same issue with other BMW models. I'll modify the plug for my radar detector.
