14' bmw 535xi questions about sport+ mode

My car only shows the sport, comfort, and eco modes, is there a way to code where I can get sport+ mode on my car? I have bimmercode and wanted to reach out beforehand bc this is my first bmw and followed this forum for a while now and everyone seems so helpful. I'm a non m-sport with out the paddles but have 8sp transmissions with the gesr shifter I can use for manual shifting, I just didn't know if I coded it in the app if I would then have sport+ mode, thanks for your time

If you have bimmercode already does it have any documentation about what you can code?

You can get "close" to Sport+ mode by putting the shifter to the left, and then pressing the DSC button once to turn on DTC (Traction Control). Shifter left will give you the higher shift points of Sport+ (but not the faster throttle response of Sport/Sport+), and DTC will allow more wheelspin on hard cornering before cutting throttle or applying brakes, that DSC does. So you'll have 2/3rds of Sport+. The DTC-on is the only difference between Sport and Sport+, so you'll only get the benefit if you're accelerating on corners and noticing that DSC is cutting power/braking.

I'm not sure you can code sport+ with BimmerCode. I did it with ESys; before it became too complicated to install for my limited computer skills.

I would pose this question on one of the several BMW coding forums.

Bimmercode has that "expert mode" that allows you to do some things similar to Esys set-up...but using that area comes with a warning. You could screw things up if you don't know what you're doing...unlike the other easy/simple side of the app.

Or you could look for some of the videos uploaded to Youtube...you may find that this question may have already been addressed (just sayin...I have no clue to if it has).
