G30 (2017 - Current)
The next generation 5 Series, chassis code G30, arrives at dealers in February 2017. Looking like a scaled down 7 Series and riding on the CLAR platform, the new 5 Series will have a focus on lightweight and sporty performance. Engines options will come from BMW's new B family for the 530 and 540 and a turbocharged V8 for the M550i. Read more about the 2017 5 Series |

I just mean in the sense of like response. Sometimes they will take a day to get back you and others is like 5 mins. They didn't really give me a support of like "hey if your running this you will get this" type of response. Instead when I expressed my concerns, which was of running 93 octane, meth, downpipes and map + stacking with JB4 all I got was a thumbs up.... Literally.. Anywayssss. I bought it today and I am stacking! With methane and other mods Im running Map 7 on JB4 to control the WMI of 50/50. Getting good numbers according to BMS. Smoothness is perfect! Way better with the BM3, just JB4+ to me was a bit jerky sometimes, especially hot days since Im in Florida.

Well I mean I could buy the m5 or something but it’s just reliability wise, comfort, price point, practicality for me all fits in the 540i. I love my car man and I just want to do things to it call it my own. No other the same you know. Maybe I’m just crazy. Idk. XUMERX

Craving more power isn't about hitting a target number of BHP and then being 'finished' - if that were the case then just buy a car with X bhp and be done with it. Its about seeing what you can squeeze out of what you have, and also changing the way the power is delivered from stock (fairly docile) to more aggressive and urgent. There is always more... I have my limits to what I will spend to boost power and how much I will tune for a number of reasons (cost, warranty, potential problems), but I love it when others say "f*** it!" and push the boundaries.
