Front camber angle - Can it be adjusted?

Front camber angle - Can it be adjusted? I am replacing my front lower control arms because they are in very bad shape and need to know if it is worth getting an alignment. If they cannot even adjust it I won't bother.

Thanks for posting that and so quickly. So it looks like no standard alignment shop is going to touch that. I may just have an alignment shop check it and if it is out of spec get the dealer to adjust the camber.

These might be your alignment allowances.

Remember that the effects of the extremes are very different.

HOLY crap! my alignment is bad. I just went out and did some 'basic' measurements to see where I stand with a laser level and a bubble gauge and decided to share.

I attached some picks of both rear tires with the bubble guage. I check both tires in 2 spots making sure not to measure the center where the bottom of the tire bulges where it touches the ground. My laser level said both were about 3 degrees. The other picture is of on of my summer tires I took off in the fall showing excess inside wear and these tires are only ever used on the rear due to the staggered sizes.

The front was about half as bad camber with the same issue tire wear on the inside but at least all 4 tires were equally bad left to right (symmetric).

My car has a lot of miles on it and I have noticed before it does not stand as high as newer x1's so I am thinking the suspension has settled lower and needs major adjustments before I scrap these tires and get my new ones on.

Edit: all tires shown are Pirelli run flats from the dealer. Winters on the car now, summer tire shown as reference.
