BMW i3 I01 (2014 - Current)
The BMW i3 and BMW i8 are the first two cars launch under BMW's new sub brand BMW i. The i3 is an all carbon fiber, all electric vehicle meant for urban mobility.

Cracked 6" Display

Hello Everyone,

Just picked up my 2017 i3 last week. Unfortunately, a few days after having it I irresponsibly tossed my wallet into the area under the screen, it nicked the screen and ended up cracking it.

I am currently looking for a used piece to replace it with as BMW wants $3100+ to replace it. It is a 6" Display on a 2017 i3 ReX. See pictures attached.

Any advice? Hoping I can find a used one and I heard install is super cheap.

Anyone have any idea what years of used 6" displays I can be looking at? I read from 2014-2017 is the same.

The size of the screen depends on the options, but both sizes are still being made. You can install the larger one if you prefer, or can find it second hand. Someone posted a thread on how to do that.
