Yeah, I couldn't remember if they were the ones who did that or not, but I opened up their website and reminded myself that they do, unlike most (all?) other options out there.

Hi everyone I recently got a 1992 325i, I knew it needed some work when I got it even though I am a novice mechanic at best, I have a good friend who is a great mechanic and a BMW enthusiast. Anyway I put it up on a lift today and saw something that just seemed very odd if anyone can explain what's going on in these pics I would appreciate it. What ur looking at is up under the rear passenger wheel well right next to where u put in the fuel.

It looks like someone took out the fuel vapor canister and associated hardware.

'Sup everyone. Things I am excited for:

1) Tonight marks the beginning of 10 days off work, all paid for since they are relocating us and it doesn't count against our vacation time.
2) Tomorrow I have a track day.

Things I am not excited for:

1) 100% sun and 90 degree temps at tomorrow's track day... It's going to be hot.

Its in the high-70s low-80s here today, mid-70s and raining tomorrow. I think WA and VA switched climates.

I got the two kids together for the first time this morning when I had to get my sunglasses from the VW. Goal for my next house is to be able to park all my crap at least on the same block, if not in the same driveway.

Does NJ have smog checks? If so, it'll have to be put back, but if it's running OK as is and it isn't going to get you ticketed for an incomplete evap system, leave it.

Uh-oh, Andrew's text-talking again.

Andrew, do you say "hashtag" when you talk to someone face-to-face?

I live in AZ and don't have to pass emissions. It's running kinda rough right now but I still have some other issues that have to b dealt with. What kind of issues might occur from it not being there.

But, Jake, you were allowed before.

Maybe not to a person of your choosing, but allowed!

EDIT:

I've been married. The divorce certificate is framed on my wall. Marriage is not all it's cracked up to be. Getting to choose that for yourself however, is ****ing amazing.

Well, running rough is one of the issues. That's why I asked.

You must have gotten your phone in NJ, because your IP address is NJ.

Yeah, that must be the case. I just got home from the track and my OBC was saying it was 96F on the drive home. Meant for some greasy tires at the track, but my temp gauge stayed pegged at 12 o'clock all day long, so that's good. 90s is considered very hot here, since pretty much nobody has A/C. Doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me, since I grew up in Michigan which as some pretty hot and humid summers.
