Mein Auto: 1994 BMW 320i
E36 "tape error"

hey, I recently bought a 1998 328is and i bought a cassette to auxiliary plug but when I put it in music will play for about 3 seconds and then it switches to tape side b and then says tape error any help?

I have the same problem. Looking for a solution because not having music + (static radio) is like riding in a model T.

I would try playing a normal tape in your e36 and playing the aux tape in a different tape player. Then see which one the problem follows.

just do the auxiliary audio in mod and use your phone steal(solder) the input from the cassette.. u know that things useless anyways.
