Hello everyone!

Guys, during the last couple of days I had a message popped "Reduced engine power" on my 2008 M5, 55k miles. I wasn't in the M mode, didn't race, drove it easy on the road. It was On and Off for two days, and at the end resulted in a steady "check engine light."

Upon running a module scan it was determined that there was a hard code "2B16 Throttle valve actuator, governor monitoring, bank 2". I wasn't told what exactly was going on, and the guys at the shop said they could test each throttle module individually to see what the issue is (4-5 hours job), and, still, there won't be any guaranties they will be able to say 100% what's wrong.

Has anybody come across such issue? Any ideas, tips, and advise on how to fix the car would be highly appreciated!

Thank you ALL in advance!

Cheers!
