F10 / F11 (2011 - 2016)
The sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series Sedan (F10) was produced from 2011 - 2016 with LCI updates arriving in 2014. In the US BMW offered a hatchback 5 Series Gran Truismo (F07) and the rest of the world also go a Station Wagon/Touring version F11.

This car had to be wrapped twice to get this effect. First with chrome, then with the green. Imagine the benefit over time. In 5 years, the wrap can be removed and the paint will be prefect.

Won't argue the benefit of being wrapped but the only other color that I can think of that would be worse (it's horrid on any car) is Mary Kay pink. I know it's a status/reward thing for those that have earned the cars and congratulations to them for the hard work that got them the car(s) but....

Ok I saw the gold/beige 550 leaving the parking lot yesterday. In broad daylight, out of its basement garage and away from dim fluorescent lights, it was a more pleasing color than I originally posted. But just a tad.
