The sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series Sedan (F10) was produced from 2011 - 2016 with LCI updates arriving in 2014. In the US BMW offered a hatchback 5 Series Gran Truismo (F07) and the rest of the world also go a Station Wagon/Touring version F11. |

Fuel filter renewal - bleeding procedure
Hi all
I have read on the forum that you can run an ISTA procedure to bleed the air out of the system after renewal of the fuel filter. Is this functionality available with ISTA-D? I cannot find how to do it for the life of me! How have you guys done when replacing the filter? I have read some just crank the engine after filter renewal. Many thanks in advance

That's all I did, turn on the ignition and the system will self bleed, then turn/crank the engine over.
