328D Chip Express vs Dinan

I just bought a 2014 328D wagon. I live in altitude and drive on very mountainous roads. I am trying to improve the performance of the car. I am reading about the Chip Express and Dinantronics.

- Is one better then the other? Is installing both an option?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

I don't have any experience with the Chip Express unit, but I have had two Dinan Sport units and wouldn't recommend them. The first unit I got didn't show a difference between stock and "race" mode on the dyno, so I sent it back and got another one. With the new one I tried more than just the stock and "race" profiles on the dyno and found that "race" really doesn't do anything different from stock, and "sport+" mode gives you about 9-10hp. Not even noticeable on the butt dyno.

Dinan has a 14 day satisfaction guarantee. Try it for a week and decide if it's worth it to you. Let me know if you do I'm interested as well. I'm 1.5 hrs west of you.
