Tire Pressure Sensor

Does anyone have a good online shop they order replacement tire pressure sensors from? BMW originals go for $99 a piece and Iíve found oem parts for $88. My local discount tire place quoted me $67 but Iím not sure I can trust the tps units they sell. They also stated they would charge me an addíl $29 to pair them to my car. Seems like a bs charge.

the price per sensor is good but agree the resetting charge is bs. you can reset the tmps yourself via idrive
I purchased the sensor for spare set of wheel off eBay. no issues. I notice that AmericasTire has same ones. (DiscountTire depends where you are in country) I recall I spend about $129 for set. its been like 3yrs ago.

Be careful. Not all are compatible with BMW.

Ordered (4) MICHELIN, X-ICE XI3 - 245/50R18 winter tires from tirerack and my local bmw dealer will install the whole package for free. This was news to me. Service rep said just pull into our service bay and we will swap them out for you no problem. I said youíll need to mount the tps and tires onto my new wheels and she said thatís ok.

Turns out there was some confusion between the service receptionist and the service rep. Mounting snow tires, onto rims and installing tpms sensors is not free.

Dealer charged $25 a corner and includes mounting loose tires to loose rims, tpms install, balancing, nitrogen, remove current wheels and tires , bag them, and a free car wash so I think thatís pretty good. Even with a 2 hr wait and 4 coffees.

Was not feeling comfortable with the local discount tire place at the moment. Probably the best $100 I ever spent at a BMW dealership.

The 7 looks funny now with 18s on but the ride is amazing. Iím enjoying the extra float in the ride quality.
