I'm interested in this too.
Seems there are some kits on amazon, but would like to hear feedback from anyone who has changed the bulbs out.

The set I put in my 330xi worked great, got it off Ebay for about $15 years ago. The set I just got on Amazon(that "fit my car") did not fit my car. This is why I'm wondering what the bulbs are. Can probably just pull them out and see if they have a number on them. Perhaps tomorrow.

I haven't, but so far on my E90 I've switched the exterior lights to mainly LED and I used iJDMtoy off Amazon with great success and no dash lights. There are some BMW approved sources (https://bimmian.com/ is one I believe).

I've heard good things about these ECS kits (for the E90, anyways):

I know that buying LEDs individually isn't any cheaper (especially after having bought all new exterior lights), but seeing the price of that package makes my butt pucker.

Haha, I immediately dismissed those! I literally bought the set for my 330 on Ebay for about $15 and they worked great for the 2 years I had them.

Most are T10 194 bulbs. You need can bus bulbs for those otherwise they turn off if the engine is running. I got the BMW set of 10 (6 round and 4 flat). No issued since 2013.

3 x part# 194 (T10) FRONT DOME/MAP
4 x part# 194 (T10) REAR DOME/MAP
2 x part# 194 (T10) FOOTWELL
2 x part# 6411 Festoon 41mm VISOR/VANITY
1 x part# 6411 Festoon 41mm TRUNK
1 x part# 6418 Festoon 36mm GLOVE

Great response, thank you. Found/ordered a set with all as you mentioned. Will follow up with review and link if they work as expected.
