Welcome to Bimmerfest!

If I knew what year your 335D Xdrive was, I'd move your posting to the right forum so you could get some model-specific help. Please post your question there.

EDIT: O.P. told me via PM it's a 2014, so I moved it here, to the F3X forum.

You might get pointed in the right direction by reading the codes and doing a little analysis.

Any one having problems on there f30 335dm sport with drive train error please check these before listening to Bmw dealers tell you it's turbos egr valves I've had 3 occasions now with drive train 2 under warranty now this one out of warranty first was one of 2 turbo pressure converters on right hand diagram which stored no codes, second under warranty the oring number 12 on left hand diagram.tonight I found the original 2nd turbo pressure converter had given up the ghost changed from my brothers 2017 335d xdrive and the car is back to normal mpg improved brakes better and no engine knock it sounded like my shells in bottom end of engine were gone
